The Relocation Process.

Upon receiving a relocation request, MelKay will determine what machinery is needed to complete the move in the most cost-effective, secure way. Our team will then obtain the necessary insurance to perform the move safely, and we’ll organize any transportation associated with the relocation. When it’s time to move your equipment, we’ll bring a team of operators, ironworkers, millwrights, and project managers to help. The timeline for relocation varies from project to project; however our turnarounds are quick, with many projects being completed within a week. Contact us to get started with an estimate.

Moving heavy equipment is risky—especially when that equipment is so costly to your business.

Proper planning and safety is crucial to ensuring a smooth transition from one location to the next. When MelKay helps with your industrial relocation, we complete daily job safety analyses that help us identify potential hazards and determine the safest way to proceed. In addition to being proactive on the job, each of our team members are armed with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as well as a number of safety certifications, including American Rescue and Safety (ARS) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA 10) certifications.
